This half-hour weekly show is a virtual rewind of live performances from the original “Gospel Singing Jubilee”, a hit TV series in the 1960’s and ‘70’s that featured southern style gospel music. Each “Jubilee” is hosted by two-time “DJ of the Year” Dove Award and Southern Gospel Diamond “Lifetime Achievement” Award recipient and radio industry pioneer, Jim Black. His past experience in the gospel music world provides a window of reflection to historical performances from that era. With legendary Gospel Music “Hall of Fame” members starring in each show like the Cathedrals, Florida Boys, Happy Goodman’s, Hinson’s and many others, plus interviews with the artists today remembering those moments, it’s a true “Jubilee” each week.
